Ally Keegan
Ally Keegan is a criminal defense attorney at the Law Office of David P. Shapiro, APLC. She graduated from Villanova University before earning her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law with a concentration in criminal litigation. She has practiced criminal defense in both state and federal courts, handling cases from murder to misdemeanors from their inception through trial.
Ally also teaches Criminal Law at the University of San Diego School of Law Paralegal Program, has served as a legal analyst for national and local television and radio networks, and is involved in several legal and political organizations throughout the San Diego community.
Too often, criminal cases are the result of systemic failures that occurred much earlier in a person’s life. Ally was initially drawn to TKF because she knows its work in teaching families the value of compassion, forgiveness, and healthy coping mechanisms can help minimize the likelihood that someone will find themselves in the criminal justice system later on in life.
In her free time, Ally likes puzzles, reading, hiking, and hanging out with her weird three-legged dog (and also her friends and family).
