Jennifer Gomez

Peace Education Mentor

I provide personalized guidance and support to youth, employing trauma-informed practices and facilitating restorative justice interventions. My background in home health care further equips me to assist individuals with daily living activities and emotional support during challenging
times.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University San Marcos, and hold certifications in mental health, restorative justice practices, and trauma-informed care. My involvement with the Each One Teach One (EOTO) Mentoring Program has refined my skills in guiding justice-impacted youth towards academic success and personal growth.

I am drawn to the Tariq Khamisa Foundation’s mission of creating safer schools and am eager to contribute to their efforts. My diverse experience and commitment to service aligns with TKF’s goals, and I am enthusiastic about making a positive impact.

Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about giving back to the community and raising my children with the lessons learned from my own life experiences. My journey through addiction, trauma, and incarceration has fueled my drive to support and inspire others overcoming similar challenges.
