LynnOska Ritchie

Mentoring Coordinator

LynnOska Ritchie is the Mentoring Coordinator for TKF. She supports all TKF Peace Educator Mentors in North County San Diego.

She is passionate about social emotional learning and building resiliency in children and adolescents. LynnOska brings her experience of being a first-gen college graduate, mentoring at risk gang youth in Los Angeles County, fifteen years of working in various capacities in comprehensive school systems, working with Tribal Chairpersons and members while serving on committees geared toward access to education for Native American populations, to this current position.

Working from a whole child approach, LynnOska is excited to collaborate with the team at TKF, various schools and stake holders, and other community partners to bring about much needed systemic changes in education. She believes in meeting young people where they are and equipping them with life skills that will help them find their way to self-actualization. Sharing in TKF’s core values of creating safer schools and communities through educating and inspiring children in the restorative principles of accountability, compassion, forgiveness, and peacemaking, LynnOska believes that every student has a right to education, resources and rights that allow them to thrive as contributing members of our society.

LynnOska enjoys spending time with her four children, two dogs, hiking, camping, traveling, watching sports and reading. She has an MS in School Counseling and a BA in Communication Studies from California Baptist University.
