Tony Hicks

While in prison I attained my G.E.D and took some correspondence classes. I became introduced to plumbing as a potential trade and employable skill in the last 5 years of my time in prison. Once home I was giving an opportunity to attend school with a very reputable plumbing company that trained me in plumbing and eventually gave me a job where I currently work now.

I love the work that TKF does and the impact it has had and will continue to have in the lives of young people and our communities as a whole. As both a board member and volunteer I believe that sharing this story has transformative powers for everyone involved.

I currently enjoy working out for peace of mind, listening to audio books throughout my day and sharing my free time with the people that I love.
